Show Enters Race .. . fit ?1 Jordan A. Law, Payson city recorder, re-corder, who has filed for Utah County Commission. PAYSON MAN FILES FOR COMMISSIONER Jordan A. Law, city recorder of Payson city, recently filed nomination nomina-tion papers for the office of four-year four-year term county commissioner on the Democratic ticket. Mr. Law has been elected five times to the position he now holds in the Payson city administration. At the last city election he was unopposed for the office. Mr. Law is a native of Salt Lake City, but has lived in Payson for the past nineteen years, coming here to accept a position in the flour mill of the late Thos. F. Tolhurst. In January, Jan-uary, 1938, he was sustained bishop of the Payson First ward, succeeding suc-ceeding Bishop W. A. McClellan. He has held numerous other positions posi-tions in the L. D. S. church, including includ-ing superintendent of the Sunday school, president of the Y. M. M. I. A., nd ward chorister. Bishop Law married Jessie L. Clark of Wyoming. They have eight living children. I Having had years of experience! in public financial matters, Mr. Law will bring to the office of commissioner, if elected, outstanding outstand-ing ability in control of public funds.
