AMERICAN FORK GETS ASPHALT STREET SURFACING Made possible through creation of a special improvement district, the laying of rock asphalt surfacing sur-facing on nine blocks of American Fork city streets has been completed. com-pleted. The surfacing was done by WPA labor and Tom Lamph, Pro-vo Pro-vo contractor. Streets included in the project were First South street between Second East and Third West streets, Main street from Second East to Fourth East streets, and Second West street from Main to Second South. Graveling and grading of numerous num-erous other city streets also was completed under a WPA improvement improve-ment project sponsored by the city council. Total cost of the project was $8500.
