Show Table Shows Deer ' Decrease in Local Areas The following table will give deer hunters a glance at the re- suits of deer hunting in the nearby hunting areas the past three ' years. Sportsmen will note the dwindlin gof the bucks and does in these areas and the rise in the number of hunters. Unless state wildlife wild-life officers immediately correct this growing threat to the Utah ja wildlife situation, sportsmen will have to go outside the state for fl hunting. In 1943 there were 1017 cars with 2146 hunters listed. Diamond Fork checked 2300 cars with around 4200 hunters this year as compared with 1287 cars and 3489 hunters for 1943. ,?J The special doe hunt which will begin sometime this month in the above areas, will reduce the number of deer for next year's '4 hunt considerably, it was reported by local sportsmen.
