Bank Contributes Machines to SHS Commercial Dept. The Springville Banking Co., anxious an-xious to further the education of Springville young people in the business field, donated to the Springville high school secretar-. secretar-. ial department recently two posting post-ing machines. This fine gesture came about as result of a request from the high school department that firms having hav-ing business machines that would be satisfactory for practice work in classes of advanced students, give the SHS the opportunity to purchase them. The school is anxious an-xious to build up its office machines ma-chines department and this can be done only with the cooperation of business and industry, according to Eldon L. Reese, department head. The secretarial department of the high school has trained mary 'outstanding students who have gone into excellent positions here in the county, the Springville Banking Company being one firm which has benefited from competent compe-tent girls who have received training train-ing at the high school. |
