Show Closing Art Program Monday, 2:30 p.m. in U.S. Auditorium The 1956 annual National April Art Exhibit comes to a close on Monday, April 30 with a program at 2:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium, to which the public is invited. ' i v - '" which will be highlighted by the unveiling of the purchase picture or pictures by the queen candidate, candi-date, whose class succeeds in raising rais-ing the largest fund for the purchase pur-chase painting. The selection of the purchase picture or pictures is kept a secret se-cret from all except the committee commit-tee on selection until the unveiling. During the afternoon program, for which music will be furnished by the high school, the prize essays written on some picture in the exhibit, ex-hibit, will be read and prizes awarded. Also the Aureole club cash award which is given annually to an outstanding art student, will be awarded. The program will also include a financial report on the current exhibit to be given by J. F. Win-gate, Win-gate, art board treasurer. The exhibit will be open Monday Mon-day evening for all who desire tc see the purchase pictures as well as others and on Tuesday the work will get' underway packing and shipping the exhibit entries back to their owners. The visitor registry is full of names from far and near who have made a tour of the galleries. Many states throughout the country coun-try are represented as well as practically prac-tically every city of any size in Utah. Rehearsing for the annual spring concert at the high school at 8:15 p.m. this evening, directed by Glenn A.
