Show Stake Quarterly Conference Planned SaturdaySunday Paul Child, of the LDS general welfare will be in attendance at the quarterly conference of Kolob Stake which opens Saturday evening in the stalcp House under direction of Presi- "ent Leo Crandall. The first meeting of the conference con-ference at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, will 1 for all welfare workers and mil be followed by a priesthood leadership meeting at 8 p.m. All priesthood members are urged to attend. General sessions of the conferee confer-ee are planned for 10 a.m. and 2 pm. in the stake house with talks by returned missionaries and others in the stake supplementing talks by the visiting speaker. Evening Session i special program is planned by the stake MIA, under direction of Superintendent Wilford Manwar-inr Manwar-inr and President Marie Whiting, for the evening session of the conference, beginning at 7 p.m. The theme of the program will "Tuning in With Diety." Music will be under the direction of Mrs. Vera Zobell, George Puckett and rs. Mina Murray, stake MIA music directors. Representatives from the junior it Men and the junior Gleaners vrfil participate on the program with talks by Kay Blackett, Allan Sumsion and Dahl Goble. Also Mrs. Lydia Johansen of Springville, Spring-ville, a native of Hawaii, will talk on prayer. |
