Show Mapleton City Adopts a New Street Numbering System at Council Meet At the Mapleton City Council meeting Monday night it was voted to adopt the Lyman street numbering number-ing system. This will necessitate a revision of the pro- posed street map presently dis-"? played in the City Hall. The shortage of water again makes it necessary to appeal to the citizens to cooperate in the use of it. The stockmen are especially es-pecially urged to control their field taps to prevent undue waste. The City Council started a campaign cam-paign to accumulate all of the old city records. If any of the residents resi-dents are in possession or have knowledge of any of these items they are asked to please contact a member of the city council. Anyone interested .in sechedul-ing sechedul-ing a recreation period in the Mapleton Map-leton recreation center are invited to be in attendance at a special meeting tonight, Thursday, October Octo-ber 21, at 6 p.m. at the city hall. Schedules for the year will be drawn up at this time. |
