Show Junior Wildlife To Hold State Rifle Meet Here The Junior Wildlife Federation of Springville will host all Utah Junior Wildlife clubs at the Utah State Rifle Shoot to be held Saturday Sat-urday October 10 at the Springville Spring-ville Rifle range. Junior Wildlife clubs from all parts of the state will come to Springville to take part in this shoot. In preparation for the state meet, the Springville Junior Wildlife Wild-life members are having a practice rifle shoot Saturday, October 3, at the Springville range. Dick Wheeler of the Jaycees is in charge of this practice shoot and he will furnish transportation for all boys interested in participating. Rifles and ammunition will also be available at the range to the participants. All boys desiring transportation are asked to meet in front of the high school Saturday, October 3, at 9 a.m. The Junior Wildlife club had a very interesting and educational meeting last Friday evening with the newly elected officers in charge. L. A. Ware of the Utah Fish and Game Department was the guest speaker and he discussed the elk and deer herds and showed a film on shooting safety. The next regular club meeting will be held October 9. |
