Sleeves were long and point-fi point-fi at the wrists and the flowing full-length skirt added a fashion-able fashion-able note. Her lace edged veil fell from a crown of seed pearls and ;he carried a pretty bridal bou-ouet bou-ouet of pink carnations centered ,rith a white orchid. Attending her as bridesmaids irere her five sisters, Mrs. Reed Perry (Elsie of Santa Ana, Calif; Mrs. Arthur Mitchell (Joycel of Springville, Mrs. Donald J. Miller iBeverlv) of Garden Grove, Calif., Mrs. Glen Sargent (Teresa) of Loan and Mrs. Stanley Brown (Lucille) of Provo. They were attired at-tired in pastel formals with corsages cor-sages made up in matching shades and tiny silver bells. Russell Sumsion, brother of the bride, was best man. Parents of Die bride and groom were also in the receiving line, Mrs. Sumsion wearing a pretty biege lace and Mrs. Andrews one of navy blue. Their corsages were of red roses, pink carnations and tiny silver bells. LaVan Andrews, Mrs. C. H. Mc-Farlane Mc-Farlane and Mrs. Elwood Ras-mussen Ras-mussen arranged the gifts. Mrs. Mart Barton supervised the serving of refreshments assisted by Twila Newberry, Carol Jean Straw, Clara Irvine, - Helen Hatfield, Hat-field, Joan Bennett, the latter of Twin Falls, Ida, A colorful three-tiered wedding cake trimmed with pink and white topped with silver bells was displayed dis-played on a lace cloth over pink with, pink and white gladioli in the background. Tall white tapers and silver bells about the entertaining rooms further emphasized the pretty decorative theme. Gene and Keith Sumsion acted as ushers during the evening, and June Beenett attended the guest book. Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Huish of Berkeley, Calif., are spending a few days in Springville, Provo and Salt Lake City. They have been at the home of Mrs. Huish's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Conover and are also "siting their two sons who are students at the "Y". In Salt Lake City they will visit Mrs. Huish's mother, Mrs. M. W. Bird, who was recently released from the LDS Hospital after a short illness; a s'ster, Carol Bird, and other relatives rel-atives and friends. |
