I'ari Passu Club Miss Martha Bird will be hostess to Pari Passu club members at her home, 272 East eCnter St., at 8 p.m. It will be the first meeting of the current club season. , Bel Canto Chorus The Bel Canto Chorus will hold regular practice on Saturday forenoon fore-noon beginning at 10 a.m. in the Third-Ninth ward church in preparation pre-paration for a Thanksgiving concert con-cert to be given the week before Thanksgiving. Membership to the chorus is open to the public and anyone interested in joining is asked to call Mrs. Leo Robertson or Dr. Franklin Madsen, Provo, director, for information. DTJP Camp Spring Creek Members of Camp Spring Creek DUP are invited to meet at the home of Mrs. Eva Hansen Thursday, Thurs-day, October 8, at 2 p.m. for the opening meeting and social. The lesson will be given by Mrs. Ivy Anderson, class leader and the history by Mrs. Veloy Bailey. There will also be a fine program arranged under direction of Captain Cap-tain Erma Brailsford. S. T. Club Mrs. George Crandall will eater-tain eater-tain at her home this evening, beginning be-ginning at 8 o'clock for members of the S. T. Club. It will be the opening party of the season. ' Camp Aaron Johnson Camp Aaron Johnson DUP will meet at the home of Mrs. Mina Murray on Thursday, October 8, at 2 p.m., announces Mrs. Thora Dalley, camp captain. It will be the opening meeting of the season and all members are invited. Sierra Bonita DUP Camp Sierra Bonita DUP will meet at the home of Mrs. Owen Beardall, Fifth South Fourth East for their October meeting next Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. It will be the first meeting of the season and a full membership is expected. Sixth Ward Budget Banquet Each auxiliary organization of the Sixth ward will help with the ward budget banquet planned for next Wednesday evening, October 7, in the Stake House. All should be present and ready to eat by 7 p.m. The bishopric are general chairmen of the affair with the MIA in charge of the program; the Relief Society, the dinner and the Primary, table decorations. |
