Show Mapleton Jaycees Install Officers at Dinner-Meet Joseph Carnesecca was installed president of the Mapleton Jaycees at special ceremonies conducted during a dinner-meeting Saturday evening at the v city amusement hall. Other new officers who took over therir respective re-spective duties are: Paul Schwartz, first vice-president; Martin Perrero, second vice-president; Martin Marchello, Fred Jensen, Jen-sen, Neil Whiting, Johnnie Bleggi, directors, and Nino Antinino, secretary-treasurer. Stanley Bird, the retiring president, becomes a state director. LeMar Miner, n.ewly elected state Jaycee vice-president, attended at-tended the meeting and assisted with the installation. He also spoke briefly. Roy Johnson acted as toastmaster. The past presidents' pin was presented to Stanley Bird by Johnnie John-nie Bleggi in behalf of the club members. Mr. Bird responded. Martin Perrero gave the secretary's' secre-tary's' report for the past year.' The retiring president's wife was also presented with a little gift, this presentation being by Neil Whiting. Attending the function as special spe-cial guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Carnesecca, Sr., parents of the new president, and Mayor and Mrs. Elmer Bird. During the evening's even-ing's program the mayor was presented pre-sented with an honorary membership member-ship card to the club. |
