Show Prices Checked By Competition Competition in the United States has kept ' prices from rising as rapidly here as in many countries, according to a recent survey. There have been price increases in 46 out of 51 countries covered by the survey. In agricultural Burma, prices actually have declined, de-clined, whereas in Finland prices have risen 31 compared with eight per cent in the United States. The United States was in 14th place as regards rising prices, chiefly because of increases in the cost of foodstuffs. |
