Show Doll Show Held At Recreation Centers The story telling festival held at the Park Wednesday was the special feature of entertainment for children of the playground areas, this week. On Friday, there will be weaving activities and other entertainment is planned for the children at the Park. At Brookside, there will be a story telling period and at the Jefferson, will be the regular entertainment. en-tertainment. Mrs. Ora Pyper is supervisor at the Park; Miss Peggji Crandall at Brookside school and Mrs. Ruby Twitchell at the Jefferson School. A doll show entertained the groups last Friday, with some oU little entries made at the park. The prize for the oldest doll went to Susan Green, visiting here from Arizona and her doll was over a hundred years old, belonging to her great grandmother. RaNae Winters has 20 dolls at the show and received the prize for the largest number. Games were played play-ed and a treat given all. At the Jefferson school, a hobby hob-by show featured a doll 25 years old, exhibited by Josephine and Letta Boyer, to get the prize. It came from Denmark and was made by a blind lady. Lynn and Kay Johnson had a doll eight years old. The boys brought their dogs and all enjoyed games and a treat. |
