Show A'Cappella Choir Pins Given; Audience Thrilled Performing before a filled auditorium audi-torium Thursday evening, the high school a cappella choir directed by Glenn A. Montague, received compliments from all sides for their excellent rendition. It was the final program for the season and in recognition of this fact, thirteen choir members who will graduate this spring, were presented present-ed with their 3-year pins. Honored for their 3-year membership mem-bership were Lela Ann McKenzie, choir secretary; Ann Black, Ann Frandsen, David Boyer, Conda Weight, Ann Wiscombe, Eldon Francis, Millie Peterson, Maurine Ivory, Kay Beach, Nanette San-ford, San-ford, Colleen Hansen and Doris Ann Bird. 1 One patron, a talented musician in her own right, attending the program described the performance perform-ance as follows: "From the very first of the program pro-gram the shaded tones of harmony caught the audience's attention. The artistic development, color, rhythm, melody, harmony, and dynamics dy-namics were unfolded in a finished work of art. One hardly realized that high school students were performing. It' seemed more on a professional level." |
