J: ' of 'ith regards to the purchase of lunch equipment for 'the ''estside school in ,v Springville, Superintendent Urockbank reported that he and Ilrs. iLla Tietjen, School pI Lunch Supervisor, had investigated the war. surplus equipment and found that the avail-, able equipment was unsuitable for use in school lunch kitchens. The Board instructed, ? therefore, that th Surintendent, together 'with Mrs. Tietjen, secure bid quotations 5 to purchase these equipment items 'and present to the Board at a later meeting. Broadbent that the Board adopt the salary i schedule as agreed upon between the Board of Education arid the Nebo ulucation Association Associa-tion . com-dttee for the 1955-6 school year, commencing -..ath t3125 to a maximum of sLLSQ for sixteen years experience. Motion unanimous. Mr. Paul K. "alker waited on the Board requesting that the bleachers be moved from the high school to the City iJorth recreation area. A Motion was made by Leo Crandall, seconded by I'illiam F. Broadbent authorizing the Springville High School to move the present bleachers 'from the high school campus to the Northside recreation area, and they instructed that Mr. "alker obtain papers showing title to these bleachers bleach-ers remaining in Nebo School District. Motion unanimous, Mr '"'alker also reported that . SnringvUie City had requested an appropriation of :.2000 to defray the cost of a .lighting project on this recreation area. lh action taken bv the Board of ..Education. Superintendent Brockbank presented a letter from Clarence J. "endel' expressing : his appreciation for the opportunity given him cf attending the a. C.E.I. Study ' Conference in Kansas City, and giving a brief summary of the many activities in i which he participated. ,' ' j Farrell G. Olson, Ag. instructor at the Spanish Fork High School, waited on tha ; Board advising them he anticipated accepting a position with the Agriculture Service in Iran for a two year period. v Mr. Howard Barker of Salt Lake City waited on the Board discussing the condition ', : of the Peteetneet School in Payson and presented plans and sketches for suggested remodeling of that school.
