Show County Officials, Ooad Men, Meet Instructions regarding their duties as road supervisors were outlined to new appointees at a meeting with the county commissioners com-missioners Monday afternoon. Problems which the supervisors might encounter were discussed by the group. Objection to motor-driven motor-driven equipment as cutting down the man-employment could be answered an-swered satisfactorily to moat taxpayers tax-payers by explaining the saving of half in cost by this method, they affirmed. Official bond of six appointees previously announced were approved; ap-proved; those of Peter Carter, Spring Lake; Leo Cahoon, Pay-son; Pay-son; William Grotegut, Spanish Fork; J. E. Gain, Cedar Fort; Worthy B. Davis, Salem; and Charles Madsen, Lake View. More efficiency would result through cooperation and understanding under-standing between the county commissioners com-missioners and supervisors Acting Chairman William J. Jo'hnson noted. |
