Presiding Presid-ing zt the tea table were Mrs. H. T. Reynolds Jr., Mrs. A. G. Johnson and Miss Mattie Davis. Assisting with the serving were Misses HOrtense and Elaine Cran-dall, Cran-dall, Mrs. Sarabell Stewart, Miss Wanda Stewart, Miss Ora Mac-Kay, Mac-Kay, Provo, Miss Deon Jones of Salt Lake City, and Nana Lee Reynolds. About 150 guests called during dur-ing the hours of 2 and 5 p. m. A musical program featured the afternoon's af-ternoon's entertainment with selections sel-ections given by Bruce Jones Miss Detta Jones of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Mary Whitney. Barbara Gud-mundscn Gud-mundscn and Miss Pauline Clyde. Among the many guests who viewed the pictures at the art gallery gal-lery Sunday were the artists Henry Hen-ry Moser of Logan, E. J. Bird, Fjellboe, Cornelius and Mrs. Rose Howard Salisbury of Salt Lake City. Among the delightful parties of the week was the surprise birthday birth-day party given by a number of friends in honor of Mrs. G. W. Friel, Tuesday night. The group enjoyed games, social chat and a delicious luncheon. Mrs. Friel l alio-i of the federated clubs in the first district were guests of the Springviile federated club hidies at ;i nicely arranged and enjoyable en-joyable .silver tea, Friday afternoon after-noon at the art gallery. Chairman Ada Barron presided. The Og-dun Og-dun chilis were especially well represented rep-resented with Georgena Marriot of the state federation, and Mrs. C. b Peacock, state chairman of the art department, present. During Dur-ing the afternoon Mrs. Hannah C. Packard of Provo entertained with vocal selections, accompanied by Mrs. Abo Turner of Provo, and Mrs. Packard and Miss Helen Palfrey Pal-frey man gave a vocal duet. An enjoyable talk on art was also given by B. F. Larsen. During the serving string music was furnished fur-nished by Wallace Martin, Alnen Condie and Phylia Smart of the high school. Mrs. Mul Huntington gave a talk on the picture in the exhibit. The tea table wa,H covered cov-ered with a beautiful Maderia cloth with other 'dV'coralions of spring flowers. Towers and Superintendent Dick Greenland, Green-land, have just returned from a week's vacation trip to Bryces and the Grand Canyons, to Boulder dam and at Boulder City and Las Vegas, Nev. They also visited a large saw mill at Williams, Ariz. Mrs. Bob Kriowlden and little daughter, Marilyn of Beverly Hills and Hollywood visited the past week with Mr. and Mrs. Will Mc-Kenzie Mc-Kenzie in this city. Marilyn, well known child actress seen in a number of productions here returned re-turned to rehearse for her part in the picture, "Tom Sawyer." Members of the Jeune Mere club and their guests assembled at the art gallery Saturda afternoon after-noon where the pictures in the current exhibit were explained by Mrs. Mae Hun' ngton. Tb up later went to Valley Tavern where lunch was enjoyed together with a musical program given by Miss Vera Wheeler and Mrs. Evelyn J Boyer. About 16 members and guests attended. The American Legion auxiliary will entertain at their annual Mothers' day program and social next Wednesday, at 2 p. m., at Memorial hall. Each member is asked to bring her mother or an elderly guest. President Inez Cha der will be in charge. Members of the Ladies Literary club and their mothers will be entertained at the annual Mothers' day program next Thursday at 7:30 p. m., at the home of Mrs. Manilla Brown. Miss Olive Childs, sister of the bride, Miss Deon Jones, Miss Mattie Davis and Miss Ora McKay were bridesmaids. Miss Childs wore a lovely gown of orchid or-chid with a corsage of pink rose buds; Miss Jones wore a lovely love-ly gown of orchid with a corsage of pink rose buds; Miss Jones was attired in yellow with a corsage of lavender sweet peas; Miss Davis, a torquise blue with a corsage of pink rose buds and Miss McKay, in royal blue with a corsage of pink sweet peas. Dette Jones, flower flow-er girl, wore a pretty dress of blue crepe. Erling Roylance acted as best man. About 30 family members mem-bers were in attendance.
