Show SCOUT NEWS Kolob district scouts will hold a camporee on Friday afternoon, May 14, and continue until noon the following day, J. F. Wingate, chairman of the district publicity committee, announced Wednesday. The camporee will be for all registered regist-ered scouts and scouters. From 3 until 5 p. m., has been set for checking in of scouts. At 5 p. m., until 7:30 p. m., a barbe-que barbe-que will be held under direction of J. T. Wheeler. Games and various var-ious contests will also feature this period. A court of honor in connection with a program under direction of Freeman Bird of Mapleton, is set for 7:30 p. m., until 9 p. m. Saturday Satur-day morning- will feature a nature hike and other interesting activities, activi-ties, Mr. Wingate said. Dr. P. F. Pfouts. of Payson is expected to attend the camporee to I demonstrate an ideal camp. Possibly Pos-sibly Merrill Christopherson of the National Parks council will also be in attendance, according to the report. |
