U. will be the principal speaker at the unveiling exercises of the sixteenth annual national high school art exhibit ex-hibit at 3 p. m., Friday, at the high school, it was announced Wednesdaj'. Music will be furnished furnish-ed by the high school music department de-partment under direction of Wallace Wal-lace Martin. Winners of the essay contest both in the junior and senior high school, will be announced and awards made at the exercises. Principal W. W. Brockbank, president presi-dent of the art board, will be in charge. Invitations are extended to school and city and county officials, offi-cials, to art patrons, club members mem-bers and citizens, to attend. While the unveiling exercises will be held on Friday, the art exhibit will remain open over the following Sunday, to give everyone an opportunity to view the pictures pic-tures in the national exhibit during one more Sunday of the visiting period. i . |
