Show 1936 Fire Damage At Springville Reported The annual report of the city volunteer vol-unteer fire department to city council, shows a total of $2130 damage to property in 1936, which is considerably lower than that of 1935. The estimated value of property prop-erty endangered was $149,000. The department responded to 17 fire alarms and to one for lost children. chil-dren. Two county runs were made with damage by fires totaling $20. The city department also made two runs to Mapleton where damage dam-age was reported at $1055 and estimated value of property endangered en-dangered $6,000. Of a total members of 23, an average of 15 firemen responded to each fire during the year, the report shows. |
