Show OFFICIALS AT SCOUT MEET Three Springville scout executives. execu-tives. J. F. Wingale, J. T. Wheeler Wheel-er and M. W. Bird, attended an executive council meeting in Pro-vo, Pro-vo, Monday night. Mr. Bird was appointed troop budget chairman of the Utah National Parks Council. Coun-cil. The meeting featured instructions instruc-tions on plans for the year including in-cluding a training moot schedule announced by Leadership Chairman Chair-man Roy Passey. Ed R. Tuttle, finance chairman, presented plans for securing district finance, and also favored a Fathers' and Sons' banquet to be given in the smaller communities. Under the direction of LeRoy Condie, a demonstratioon was given on how a boy meets Tenderfoot Tender-foot requirements before his parents. par-ents. H. Eugene Roberts of Spanish Span-ish Fork, gave ideas for no lapse troop districts. Among interesting items noted were that 58 per cent of available avail-able toys are now enrolled in scouting in the district. |
