Show KIWAN1S CLUB SCHEDULED TO HEARPOLITICS Two "political big shots" will discuss the present political situation situa-tion at a meeting of the Springville Spring-ville Kiwanis club Thursday night, at Memorial hall. Vital sides of all phases of the campaign will be taken up. All members are urged to come out and be informed of the vital problems -now before the people. Music will be given by Mrs. Reed Averett and Mrs. Bernice Dastrup of Provo. A. G. Johnson will act as toastmaster. The club meeting last week, featured fea-tured an open forum meeting under un-der the direction of Coach Ott Romney of the Brigham Young university. Mr. Romney was accompanied ac-companied by John Smith, a former for-mer resident of this city who is now athletic manager at the B. Y. U., Provo. Mr. Smith attended the U. of U. and later the University of Penn where he was selected all American tackle. Music at the meeting was given by Richard Loveridge, accompanied accom-panied by Miss Averett. Miss Delia Baxter gave a reading. . |
