Show HAPPENINGS AT CITY COUNCIL With four members present at the regular city council meeting Monday night the deer season opened Tuesday little business was transacted, according to a report of the meeting. Three sections of the city pasture were let for feed to local cattlemen, j With atal bids of $194 the south- j east section was let to Willis Sum-j sion; the southwest section to Virgil Bird and Oliver Dalton and the northwest section to John Dougall. It was aiso reported that work on the new wood stave pipe line extending from the city reservoir to the power plant, was progressing progres-sing and is expected to he completed com-pleted in about three weeks. George L. Hyde appeared before the council to request an investigation investiga-tion on the possibility of opening a new street south in the vicinity of First west. He was advised to contact other citizens in the vicinity vicin-ity on the proposition. |
