Show Perry Descendants Sponsor- Program AtD. U. P. Meeting A program by the daughters, grand daughters and great-granddaughter of Stephen Chadwick perry per-ry featured the monthly meeting of the Mapleton camp, D. U. P. Thursday at the Francis Perry Snow residence. .The history of Mrs. Perry and also Asahel Perry was given by Mrs. Ruby S. Jensen; I a reading, Mrs. Harriet W. Jensen; vocal duet, Mrs. Lenore J. BiBls and Mrs. Maibel W. Hansen; reading, read-ing, Mrs. Catherine Salisbury; reminiscences re-miniscences of the life of Leonard Leon-ard J. Whitney, Anna W. Johnson; reading Mrs. Colista P. Boyer; original orig-inal verses honoring the pioneer, composed by Eva M. Perry of Rupert, Ru-pert, Idahoi were read by Mrs. Ella S. Johnson. Four daughters of the pioneers Stephen C. Perry were in attendance atten-dance at the meeting including Mrs. Colista Beyer, Mrs. .Harriet , Whitiing, Mrs. Francis Snow and ! Mrs. Lucy Van Luvan. Eight grand-daughters, five great-gfand daughters and five great-great-granddaughters and one great-greatgrandson great-greatgrandson also attended. Luncheon was served by the hostess host-ess assisted by her daughter Mrs. EUa Johnson and Mrs. Ruby Jensen. Jen-sen. During the meeting a cane, used first by the p-ioneer Asahel Perry and later passed on through several sev-eral generations was exhibited by Mrs. Anna Johnson. |
