General committeemen for the vaiious activities to he held dufing the three days celebration were appointed ap-pointed at a meeting Tuesday evening eve-ning as follows: piogram. S L. Men-dcnhall, Men-dcnhall, Sr., Eliza Thorn and Julia Packard; concession, A. Y Wheeler: Wheel-er: sports, Henry Clark, Virgil Bird and Grant Crandall. Mrs. Melinda Sumsion, Emily Ci andall and Bert Miner were appointed to arrange for convenient eating facilities facil-ities .for visitors here during the celebration. C. G. Salisbury was asked to communicate with presidents presi-dents of the Flower Garden association asso-ciation rnd the Farm bureau to arrange ar-range for the community fair and flower show during these days. The i possibility of a pageant as one ot the big entertaining features of the I celebration with Mrs. Eva Crandai: j m charge, was suggested. ; I Charles Boyer, Ella Reynolds yid i Margaret Miner will be in diiect 1 charge of the parade. |
