Show DENVER HOST TO KIWANJANS; Special Trains Chartered to ' Carry Crowds to World Convention. DENVER, March 25. Preparing to entertain between 0,000 and 7,000 Kiwnnians and their friends during the Kiwanis international convention to e held In this city June 16-19 inclusive, Kiwanis has already opened convention headquarters head-quarters here, and a staff of workers, work-ers, under the direction of IT. O. Hoeppner, convention director, is busy arranging n program of activities for the visitors. Reports already at hand show ! that 17 special trains have been I chartered to carry Kiwanians to Denver originating as follows: Chicago, 4; Ohio, 2; Minnesota, 2, and one each from California, Utah, and Pacific Northwest, Montana, Mon-tana, "West Virginia, New England, Pennsylvania, eastern Canada and Michigan. One of the Ohio trains will be the "presidential special,' 'carrynig International President Edmund F. Arras and his party from Colum- bus. ConTention headquarters here announced an-nounced that to date G) hotels have allotted 2.500 rooms for the use of visitors during the conclave. |
