CHICAGO, July 11 (UP) A resolution reso-lution urging that the prohibition party select Herbert Hoover and Charles Curtis as its standard bearers bear-ers was placed before the national convention of the prohibition party today. The resolution was presented by Charles H. Randall of Los Angeles. It declared that Hoover was personally per-sonally and undoubtedly politically j dry and it cited Curtis as one of the ! first men to prosecute dry law violators vio-lators in Kansas. Some Opposition Expected The resolution was received with enthusiasm by many of the delegates dele-gates to. the convention though much opposition was expected.
