Show SPRINGVILLE DAIRY CONFAB mi.i -,i ; 1 u-.. I.;.-. .v . K At a dairy meeting ,held - in the city hall -at u Springville Thursday night, A. V. Nelson and, Will White; head, chairman of, the farm bureau dairy project, and chairman of the oity council, respectively, met. with their committeemen and Dr. C. Y. Cannon of the Young university, and Will Nuttall of the central dairy committee, and County Agent W. J. Thayne, and investigated pedigree ped-igree on some prospective bulls to be purchased for Springville. Pedigrees Pedi-grees and prices were investigated thoroughly by the men and plans made for investigating other pedigrees pedi-grees and securing other information informa-tion on bulls to be brought in the state and some from outside the state. The reports given at the meeting, show there will he four Jersey blocks organized at Springville, and those who are responsible for furthering fur-thering the plan in Springville are: C. V. Mendenhall, Ottis Wjorth, A. A. V. Nelson, Will Whitehead. Hober Houtz, M. A. Boyer ana John Boyer. Sentiment among these men at the meeting was to have bulls of at least 700 pounds production back of them and from some of the best blood lines available. If this is done it will be one o the leading t dairy sections of the state. |
