Huntington of Springville displayed I a number of beautiful art; hand work pieces and explained how some were made. President Mrs. George Whiting was in charge, also a short program was given, in connection con-nection with the art work. A large crowd of members and visitors were present. Bishop and Mrs. R. L. Mendenhall Menden-hall and family were guests dur-the dur-the week-end o Mr. and Mrs. Heber Livingston at the Stewart ranch in Provo canyon. i tA A pleasant evening was spent Monday when a number of young people from Mapleton and Spring- ille served a chicken supper at Kelly's Grove. Hobble Chpek canyon. can-yon. Those included in the party were: Misses Lucille Lee, Olive Jhilds, Grace Hales, Louise Men Jenhall, Rapheal Palfreyman, Al mon Harmer, Frank Brown and Condie Crandall. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Tew and family of Shelly, Idaho and Mr and Mrs. Bird Tew and family of Leslie Idaho are visiting relatives and friends at Mapleton this week. In compliment to Mr. and Mrs Warren G. Tew and family of Shelley, Idaho, Mr. and Mrs. William Wil-liam T. Tew Jr., entertained at an informal dinner at their home Saturday Sat-urday evening. Covers were laid for 12 members of the immediate family fam-ily and guests. A niceiy arrange:! dinner was given Tuesday evening by Mr. and Mrs. William T. Tew Jr., in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Bird Tew of Leslie. Idaho. Music and social chat were other enjoyable features of the evening. |
