Show CONBIE'S WORK ; GIVEN PRAISE " - Provo and Springville relatives of Richard Condie, Utah's foremost lyric tenor, who is now studying in he Fountaine Bleau American Conservatory of Music, Paris, are in receipt of information telling of Mr. Condie's success in his work abroad. In a recent recital given by the great school of music in which nine students were selected to participate, partici-pate, Mr. Condie was not only one of ;the nine, but he also received special mention by the press for his. splendid performance. Others who were chosen was one tenor and one soprano who are holding outstanding,. , positions in New York. In referring to Mr. Condte's performance per-formance one of the leading music critics of France said: "Mr. Richard. Rich-ard. Condie, charming lyric tenor, won preference." Mr. Condie won another scholarship scholar-ship to,, the Paris school given by a wealthy ,Ncw York music enthusiast,, en-thusiast,, .thus .making this his second sec-ond , year of study in the Paris school,, |
