Show LAST TRIBUTES PAID MRS. KAY: BURIALATMONA Final tributes of respect were paid Mrs Gertrude Mendenhall Kay at services held Saturday" in the Springville Second ward chapel, with Bishop William Wainwright in charge. The invocation was offered by Bishop Wainwright, the benediction by D. A. Crandall. Musical numbers were furnished by Mrs. Guy Brown, Frank Bjarn-son Bjarn-son and Inez SI a it, each of whom rendered a vocal solo. The speakers were: Frank Cell-ventra Cell-ventra and Bishop William Wainwright. Wain-wright. Frank Cellventra dedicated the grave at the Mona cemetery. Mrs. Kay was born in Starr, Utah, June 11, 1872. Death, which occurred Thursday, was due to an illness covering a period of 6 years. During the past year she has been confined to her bed. Seven years ago Mrs. Kay, with her family, came from Park City to Springville, where she has since resided. Surviving are three daughters: Mrs. D. M. Boyer, Silver City; Ruth and Charlotte of Springville; and one son Wayne of this city. Also four sisters, Mrs. A. V. San ford, Mrs. Dan Field, Eureka; Mrs. T. M. Haymond, Los Angeles; two brothers, broth-ers, Milan and Eustace Mendenhall of Payson. |
