Show g.o.p:s form co. convention organization I. E. Brockbank of Provo, county attorney, will be the keynote speaker speak-er at the Republican county convention con-vention at Payson, Saturday, Sept. 22, according to announcement by E. H. Street, chairman of the county coun-ty central committee. The temporary tempor-ary organization of the convention is announced as follows: I. E. Brockbank, Provo, temporary tempor-ary chairman; Mrs. Sadie Bromley, American Fork, Mrs. Sarah Sterling, Sterl-ing, Spanish Fork, and Mrs. Mark A. Reynolds, chairwoman ; Wesley Jense, Pleasant Grove, secretary; N. C. Hicks, Provo, and Darrell : Fowler, Leh'i, assistant secretaries; 'Otto Birk, Provo, sergeant-at-arms; I W. H. Shermer, Payson, Chaplain. Opens at 10 a. m. The convention will be held in the Payson Second ward chapel, with .the morning session slated for 10 a. m. An invitation has been sent out to all the state and judicial judi-cial "candidates on the Republican ticket, national committeeman, Harold P. Fabian, Congressman E. O. Leatherwood, state chairman Carl R. Marcuson, and other prominent prom-inent members of the party to be in attendance. The Republican organizations in the five municipal wards and seventeen seven-teen voting districts of Provo was perfected at the primaries conducted conduct-ed Monday night. Two members for the county central committee were selected from each ward and a chairman and chairwoman from each voting district as follows: , |
