The meeting will be under the direction di-rection of the vocational guidance ! committee of which E. K. Knudsen lis chairman, and wilt act as toast-master. toast-master. "There are four great problems in every man's life his health, his education, his vocal idn, and his marriage," mar-riage," says Mr. Smith's letter to : the clubmen. ! '"The problem of his vocation is no longer a simple one. Civilization and life with its thousands of technical tech-nical and highly specialized voca-! voca-! tions has left the boy 'up in the air' when he comes to a choice. So perplexing per-plexing is the problem that three-fourths three-fourths of us are engaged in vocations voca-tions for which we are more or less u nsui ted. What economics in time effort would be obtained, what tragedies trag-edies would lie averted and what joy and happiness would take their place if all were following that line i nf work which nature intended that we do. Surely, Kiwanis has no greater opportunity for practical service to humanity than in the field of vocational guidance." |
