Jones, manager Nu-Ray Polish company, his son, B. E. Jones, and Miss Verna Peck, all of Provo, wre injured in an automobile automo-bile accident near Leland at 11:30 this morning. Mr. Jones was driving a Ford when the tire flattened and the car toppled, over pinning the three occupants occu-pants beneath it. Traffic Officer George Davis came by and assisted in rscuing the victims of the Ford. The Jones boy was carrying a heavy suitcase on his lap at the time of the accident and- this is believed be-lieved to have saved the lives of the three as it held up the car so that the pressure on their bodies was merely sufficient to pin them beneath. be-neath. Miss Peck was severely injured, according to Officer Davis. Her leg was badly cut, and she suffered severe bruises. Mr. Jones and his son were slightly injured. |
