This will not be determined until the close of the popularity contest on the evening of July 3. The contest is now on and the votes are being sold for one cent each. Ballots may be had and votes cast at the following places : Ilollo-Storo, Ilollo-Storo, Mapleton, Iledqnist Prim Snclson Drug, Hodden & Packani Confectionery, II. T. Reynolds Co. and J. C. Dallin of Boston is pre senling the monument to SnrinirviP as a memorial to the Springville i and Mapleton hoys who lost their lives in the world war. Lewis J. Whitney is giving his work in the construction of the ' base of the monument. ' And contributions are being received re-ceived to pay for the materials used in the construction of the base which is estimated at about $1500. |
