Show WALKER OUT ON $300 BOND LOS ANGELES, Sept. 11. (HE) While Mickey Walker was at liberty lib-erty today under $300 bond, pending pend-ing trial October 7, on a liquor possession charge, the world middleweight mid-dleweight champion's attorney indicated in-dicated that the bail would be forfeited for-feited by a non-appearance. Walker entered a plea of not guilty to the charge yesterday when he was called into municipal court as a result of his pugilistic mean-derings mean-derings early Monday morning, which terminated when he did battle bat-tle in the apartment of a Hollywood Holly-wood film girl. Whether or not two others accused ac-cused with Walker will forfeit their bonds was not known. They were Ray Hallor and Arthur Houseman, actors, who also pleaded plead-ed not guilty. Gordon Sweeney, motion picture director, and the gentleman who received a champion's cham-pion's punch without charge, pleaded plead-ed guilty on the possession charge and was fined $300. All four paid a $20 intoxication fine Monday. |
