Show OFFICERS OF STUDENT BODY ARE SELECTED With Springville high school entering en-tering its second week of the present pres-ent school year and students entering enter-ing into their work with a splendid splen-did spirit, outlook for a successful school year is exceptionally good, according to E. E. Knudsen, principal. princi-pal. At a meeting of the student body council Tuesday the following student stu-dent officer appointments were made: Editor, Red and Blue, El-mia El-mia Mendenhall; business manager, , Clark Madsen; editor year book, L'Artiste, Madeline Harrison; business busi-ness manager of L'Artiste, Lea Crandall; athletic manager, Maurice Mau-rice Manwaring; assistant man- ! ager, Don Miner ; social manager, Ted Anthon: assistant manager, Maurine Whiting; chief of police, Arthur Hughes. Other appointments appoint-ments will be made at next week's meeting. The first student body assembly was held Friday, with Principal E. E. Knudsen in charge. He introduced intro-duced Mayor Howard Law of the student body organization, who outlined the student body policies, i Arthur Hughes, chief of police, reviewed re-viewed the laws to be enforced, and Clark Madsen gave an outline of the policies of the school court. Music for the occasion was furnished fur-nished by .the school band, which did itself proud for having been together only three days. Mr, Knudsen Knud-sen states. |
