Show IfoRADING fLANT PLANNED FOR THIS CITY An eKg grading plant will be located lo-cated in Springville in the near future, fu-ture, according to announcement by officers of the local poultry association. as-sociation. This assurance was given at a meeting of local poultrymen held in the high school Saturday evening eve-ning when it was announced that a plant would be placed hero as soon as there were enough eggs produced pro-duced to make such an establishment establish-ment pay. Poultrymen of this community expect to produce 85,000 laying hens by this fall it is stated. If this number is reached there will be enough eggs to justify the operation op-eration of a plant. The newly elected officers of the poultry association. President John S. Boyer. vice president. Burton Tew of Mapleton and Lafayette Miner, secretary .nd treasurer are cooperating with Utah Poultry association as-sociation officials to stimulate more interest in the steadily increasing in-creasing poultry industry in this community. |
