They left soon after tne cerernony tor a trip to Yilow-stonc Yilow-stonc park and Wyoming. Mrs. Charles Parckird and daughter Mrs. Mamie Heddon of Salt Lake have returned trom an enjoyable two weeks' vacation in California where they went 'to visit Miss Vera Packard formerly of this city. They were accompanied home by Miss Melba Hedden who will visit here for a short time. Leo Felix wkas honor guest at a family party given Wednesday evening eve-ning at the home of his grandparents grandpar-ents Mr. and Mrs. T. R. Greener, nu'intr the time a program, games and social chat were enjoyed. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Lowe left Friday Fri-day for Los Angeles, where they will make their home, indefinitely. Mr. and Mrs. M- W. Bird announce an-nounce the marriage of their daughter Mary to "Blackie" Huish of this city. The ceremony was performed per-formed in the Salt Lake temple Monday September 2. Tho American Legion auxiliary members were pleasantly entertained enter-tained Wednesday evening by Mrs. Cleonda Mi ner at her home on Depot street. An enjoyable pro-gram pro-gram was given in which Miss Ilah ! Stevenson a.iid Miss Ida Hoftman ; rendered a string duet; also tnere : was community singing by the members and a report of the re-: cent convection held ' at Ogde't ; given ' by Mrs. Vilate Reynolds. Mrs. Lela Nelson, Mrs. Margery Frandsen. Following the program a business meeting was held in which the ' following officers for the ensmng year were elected: presidents Mrs. Vilate Reynolds; rirst vie president. Ivlrs.' Will Phillips; Phil-lips; seccmd vice president, Mrs. Joseph Grant; secretary, Mrs. Lela Nelson; treasurer, Mrs. Mary Wit-ny; Wit-ny; historian, Mrs. LaPrcal Friel; sergeant-at-arms, Mrs. Bernicc Miner; chaplin, Mrs. Bert West. In conclusion a tasty luncheon was served by the hostess to eighteen memibers and one guest present. A musical program was the outstanding out-standing feature of amusement during the evening and was followed follow-ed by :i number of games. The Daughters of the Pioneers, camp No. 1 of this city, will be entertained Thursday. Sept. 12, at the home of;Mrs. Margaret Miner. All members and eligible members are cordially invited to be present.
