Show PROVOAN HELD AFTER CRASH Lloyd Wilde of Provo who figured in an automobtro accident at Springvill?, Friday night has been released by the Springville justice's court on a bond of $50 with the understanding un-derstanding that he pay all the damages sustained by Walter A. Lutz whose car was knocked off tho highway in the crash. The total to-tal damages are estimated at $600. i Four people were injured in an j automobile accident Friday night when two cars collided on the state highway, south of the Springville Canning company with the result I that one of the cars was knocked I on me road to the bottom of a 5- y foot embankment. Rhea Beardall, 17 of Springville ' and James Costello, 23, of Provo sustained the most severe hurts. The girl suffered a bad cut on the chin and bled profusely from other cuts. Costello received a deep gash in the head and suffered a fractured frac-tured finger. Driver Hurt Lloyd Wilde, the driver of the car escaped with scratches and bruises about the face. His car collided with another car driven by Walter A Lanz, St. Louis salesman as the latter was making a wide turn near the canning company plant. Wilde's car was ' almost com- Z plctely wrecked in the impact. The other car was badly damaged, one " fender having been torn off. The - injured people were cared for at - the Anderson clinic. Springville officers who found a broken bottle containing traces of homebrew near the scene of the ? wreck placed Wilde under arrest following the accident. He was reused re-used on bonds of 5100 to appear ; Saturday afternoon in the Spring- ville court. |
