Gill of Provo Pro-vo and Miss Sherry Lyn Pyper Py-per also sisters of the bride; Mrs. Harry Standing, Ogden, a cousin of the bride; Mrs. Robert Figgat of Salt Lake City, Mrs. . Keith Welch of Brigham City, and Mrs. Richard Rich-ard Calder of Culver City, California. They wore pale pink cotton sateen sheath dresses and carried bouquets of colorful spring flowers. Assuming best man duties was Lloyd D. George of Las Vegas, brother of the groom. Ushering was Rue Lawrence of Salt Lake City. Mothers of the couple, Mrs. Pyper and Mrs. George, were also in pink dresse3. Mrs. Pyper wearing a flocked voile, and Mrs. George, a silk organdy. Their .corsage? were white cymbidiums. At the guest register were Mrs. Roger Bown of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Reed Jex of Spanish Fork. In the gift room were Mrs. Lloyd D. George of Las Vegas, Miss Welda Lendt, Provo, Mrs. Rue Lawrence and Miss Angela An-gela Riedel of Salt Lake City. Greeting at the door were Mr. and Mrs. Chester Wright ' and Bishop and Mrs. William J. Pratt. Mrs. Blain Miner was hostess of the serving, assisted by Mrs. Bert Cherrington. Assisting As-sisting at the serving tables were Linda Davis, Pat Cherrington, Cher-rington, Molly Stansfield, Brenda Bren-da Lewis and Kathy Chapman. Special guests at the reception recep-tion were grandparents, Mrs. J.' M. Dotson of Salt Lake City, T. F. Rose of Logan, and George C. Pyper of Heber city. A wedding dinner was hosted by parents of the bride at their home honoring the bride and groom after the wedding. The couple left on Sunday for Las Vegas, Nevada where Open House was held Monday, April 16 in their honor, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Atkin, uncle and aunt of Mr. George. The couple will honeymoon in Southern California en route to San Francisco where they will make their home, while Mr. George continues his schooling at San Francisco State University. |
