Show Glenn Coffman returns from banking meet Glenn W. Coffman returned last week from attending the 45th anniversary celebration of the Federal Land Bank and the annual stockholders meeting meet-ing at Berkeley, California. Approximately 300 delegates were in attendance. The meeting commemorated commemo-rated 45 years of .continuous service by the Land Bank, which was chartered in 1917. Included in the program was a symposium on significant trends in agriculture in the western states participated in by authorities from the University Uni-versity of California, the University Uni-versity of California, Utah State Unniversity and the Geological Geo-logical Survey, U.S. Department Depart-ment of the Interior. Delegates and their wives were guests of the bank at an anniversary banquet on Monday Mon-day evening with Count Marco of San Francisco, a syndicated newspaper columnist, as the principal speaker; on Tuesday the group toured the Ford Motor Mo-tor Company's assembly plant near San Jose. |
