Show Winners named in city's ftrsf amateur rose show single rose exhibit, a Peace ROse. The winners were chosen from 86 entries which made up what was described by the judges as a ' most beautiful show. Joyce Harmon of Provo and Ann Backus of Orem, acted act-ed as judges. The Springville Banking Co., furnished the lobby of the bank for the show and also contributed contri-buted the prizes. . Officers of the show re ported this week that plans were already underway for another an-other flower show later in the season. Mrs. Laron (Rose) Andrus, 341 North Second West, true to her name, was judged the grand champion sweep-stake winner of the Amateur Rose Show, held Friday at the Springville Bank. In charge of arrangements were members of the Art City Garden Club. Mrs. Andrus received a $10 cash award for her arrangement arrange-ment of Peace Roses.
