In the playoff at Nebo Lanes, Art City had 847 pins, Jack & Jill, 844 and Regal, 779 for high team game. Lela Averett bowled 226 for high game with Marie Barrett of Art City getting second with 191. Art City Lanes had a pin total of 2403 as compared to the other two teams' 2295 and 2242. Lela also won the high series with 568 with Marie getting 513. The traveling league group elected officers for the" next year with Klee Ernst, American Ameri-can Fork, president; June Tuckett, Spanish Fork, vice-president; vice-president; Tressia Whitehead, Springville, sec.-treas.; Jean Bath, Orem, Sgt. at arms. Art City Lanes won the traveling tra-veling team trophy in a tri-team tri-team play-off held recently between Jack and Jill, Regal-Ebonite Regal-Ebonite and the Lanes teams. Merv Redden is the sponsor for the local group competing. Following the playoff, an award night was held at the Riverside Country Club. Lela Averett received the high game award with a 229 game for the season's play. Evelyn Chambers took the high series with a 606.
