Art- instructor club speaker Rell Francis, art instructor at the Junior high school, addressed ad-dressed members of the Home Culture club at their Friday meeting at the home of Mrs. Harold Christensen. Displaying copies of noted artists, he discussed some of the things which go into the making of a good painting. He also exhibited some of the work of his junior high school students especially those with modernistic subjects and explained ex-plained the methods employed. He discussed ways by which he believed Springville could be better known as the Art Center Cen-ter and a question and answer ans-wer period followed. ' The meeting was in charge of President Lillian Thorpe, who announced the next program pro-gram April 20, at the home of Catherin D. Wills. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Wilson will talk on Canada. The meeting closed with refreshments re-freshments served by the hostess. host-ess. I
