The paintings hang about a month and citizens are invited to view them daily, except Sunday at the City Hall. She paints flowers and other still life and landscapes, land-scapes, the latter being her favorite subject. Painting is but one of Mrs. Johnson's numerous interests. She is a member of the Mothers Mo-thers Study club, the DUP and the Hafen-Dallin Art Study club in addition to her art class group and Relief Society. Living alone, she keeps up her home and yard, growing lovely house-plants and other flowers, and also enjoys reading read-ing and doing , handiwork. Mrs. Johnson is modest about her accomplishments and somewhat reticent concerning the many activities in which she has engaged, but she has always been a busy individual with an interest in things about her, making her appear much younger than her years. |
