Show Tryouts for the WBBA leagues, lea-gues, Mill Creek, Hobble Creek and Sage Creek, will be held Saturday, April 14 officers announce. an-nounce. Mill Creek Mill Creek tryouis will be held on the diamond east of the Armory building from 1 to 3 p.m. for 9-10 year olds, and from 3-4 p.m. for 11 and 12 year olds. Boundary lines are East of 5th East North of 4th South. Iloliblo Creek ' Hobble Creek league will hold their tryouts on the Nprtheast diamond of Memorial Memor-ial Park beginning at 2 o'clock Sat. Tryouts are for all age , groups 9 through 12. Boundary lines are West of 5th East, North of 1st South. Howard Haymond is president; Kay Johnson, vice-president; Clair i Bowen, treasurer. Sage Creek Sage Creek tryouts Sat. will be at the Sage Creek diamond beginning at 1 p.m. for the 9 ; and 10 year olds. The 11 and ! 12 year olds will try out from j 3 to 5 p.m. Registration will i start at 12:30. The fee of $5.00 should be paid on this day. A refund will be given to those who do not make the team this year. Boundaries are South of 4th South and East of Fourth East. Spring Creek will announce their tryouts later. All hatcheries are at peak production as the 1962 fishing season approaches, the department depart-ment of fish and game announced announ-ced today. Plantings made from these hatcheries will be about the same as last year with some two million catchable rainbows to be stocked in the rivers and lakes of the State. An additional addi-tional four or five million rainbow rain-bow fingerlings will be placed in waters that offer good chances f o r survival and growth. In addition, another five or six million fry of other species will be added to enviornments that suit their specific needs. These include brown trout, brook trout, cutthroat trout. |
