Show Police officers, wives at party Mr. and Mrs. Howard Allan entertained for members of the police force, the auxiliary and their wives Wednesday evening even-ing of last week at their home. Supper was served on the back lawn early in the evening and pictures were taken of the group. Time was spent visiting and getting acquainted with the auxiliary and the wives of newer members. ' A surprise feature for the group was the appearance of Chief Ashley Graham's wife, Mildred, who was brought to the party on a stretcher. It was her first trip out of her home since her accident in January. Unable to attend was Auxiliary Auxil-iary Officer Kenneth Lowe and wife Ruth who came home with a new baby from the hospital that afternoon. The police department is hoping to make this an annual affair where the officers, auxiliary aux-iliary and their wives can get together and have a sociable time and become better acquainted. ac-quainted. Present with their wives were the following: Chief Ashley Graham, J. D. Dal ton, Jack Windley, David Nusink, and Dan Barton, and auxiliary officers, offi-cers, Lee Snelson, Arnold Brown, Dick Sorenson, Marvin Dalton and the host and hostess, hos-tess, Howard and Sylvia Allan. Special guests were Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Steele. Mr. and Mrs. Orson (Elaine Ence) Tolman and three children chil-dren of Tremonton visited over the 24th holiday with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Orval Ence and other relatives and friends here. |
