Show lJewA WoteA . . . A large number of out-of-town relatives and friends were in Springville last week, for the funeral services for Lloyd Kendall held Wednesday afternoon. after-noon. Among them were: a twin brother Floyd Kendall and wife and two grandchildren, grandchild-ren, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Ober-bye, Ober-bye, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Oberbye and family and Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Johnson all of Grand Junction, Colo.; Mr. and Mrs. George Kendall, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Kendall, Mr. and Mrs. Clive Broadhead, He-ber He-ber City; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Oberbye and two children of Springfield, Ore.; Mr. and Mrs. Floyd C. Kendall and children child-ren of Pioche, Nev.; Mrs. Ruby Liston of Fruita, Colo. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Fullmer returned the past weekend from a delightful vacation to the Northwest, where they spent three weeks. They visited visit-ed a daughter and son-in-law, Mr., and Mrs. Dean Tipton and family at Fort Lewis and with them visited the fair. They also enjoyed fishing and beach parties. Enroute home by way of Cour 'de Alene, Ida., and Montana, they spent a few days with a sister of Mr. Fullmer Full-mer at Townscent, Mont., and toured the area of the earthquake earth-quake and Quake Lake near Yellowstone Park. Enroute home they also stopped briefly to visit a nephew at Idaho Falls, Idaho. son, David Boyer and family. They returned to San Francisco Francis-co again for a short visit enroute en-route home. People who park automobiles in the wrong places ought to be fined. Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Boyer are home from a most enjoyable enjoy-able vacation trip to the West Coast and the Northwest by plane. They first went to San Francisco where they were the guests of two sons and their families, Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Boyer and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ken-neth Boyer. Later they took a plane to Seattle Wash., to see the fair and to visit another Mr. and Mrs. Claude A. Smith are home from an enjoyable en-joyable trip to the Northwest where they attended a family j reunion and also visited the Fair. Meeting a sister (Blanch) and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. John Holland from San Diego, Calif., at Seattle, Wash., they visited a few days with another an-other sister. Mrs. Iris Jenkins and her son and all attended the fair. Later they gathered at the home of another sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Holley (Florence) at beautiful Lake Shoecraft about 45 miles north of Seattle Seat-tle for the reunion attended by approximately 32 members of the families. Boating, fishing, fish-ing, visiting and family dinners din-ners were enjoyable features of the reunion at the lovely lakeside home of the Holleys and they also enjoyed a trip to Mt. Baker. |
