This is facilitated by the very structure of the coordinating coordinat-ing council which allows representation repre-sentation from every organized group functioning in the city, such as civic clubs, chamber of commerce, women's clubs, churches, schools, city council, it was stated. They will visit present civic centers in surrounding sur-rounding communities and draw on all other information which they can find available for planning such a center. The city council authorized Mr. Tippetts to proceed at once on the project. Later in the meeting, city council requested request-ed the city attorney to draw up an ordinance by which new funds derived from the one-half one-half of one-percent sales tax returned to the city will be set aside in a separate fund for construction con-struction of such a center if found essential by the coordinating coordin-ating council. A first hearing will be held on such an ordinance ordin-ance before it is published or adopted. By following the procedure pro-cedure as outlined, any interested interest-ed group or individual will be given a voice on the subject.
